The house was spotlessly clean upon arrival and had a lovely warm atmosphere. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary amenities and even had some complimentary tea, milk, and cake waiting for us. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage space. The separate sitting room with a solid fuel stove was cozy and inviting. The location, with a nearby church and a green area, was perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The only drawback was having only one bathroom in the house, which could be inconvenient when sharing with a group. the coin-operated electricity meter for hot water and fire could be a slight surprise, but it wasn't a major issue as a small amount covered our entire stay.

We stayed at a lovely farmhouse with beautiful rural views. The spacious house had all the facilities we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy electric log fire in the dining room. Martina, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The bedrooms were comfortable and had plenty of storage space. The house was spotlessly clean and warm when we arrived. Despite the coin-operated electricity meter, we found that 4 Euros was more than enough for our 3-night stay. I highly recommend this self-catering accommodation.

The moment I entered Green Acres, I felt like I had stepped into a cozy haven. The rustic farmhouse decor and comfortable furnishings created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The common areas were spacious and impeccably kept, allowing plenty of room for me to relax and socialize with other guests. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the hotel accessible for people of all ages. The wide hallways and well-placed handrails made navigation easy, while the comfortable seating areas provided ample rest stops. It was such a relief to find a place that catered to the needs of senior travelers like myself.
If I were to ask for one improvement, it would be to have the children working there provide more assistance in arranging transportation for excursions.

The location of Green Acres was perfect for our family, with easy access to both county Galway and Mayo. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. The house was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, ensuring that all our needs were met. The large bedrooms provided ample space for our family, and the separate sitting room with a cozy stove created a homely atmosphere. The little touches like a warm welcome with tea and cake were greatly appreciated. We truly felt like we had found a home away from home and are already planning to make it an annual tradition.
For families with multiple children, an additional bathroom or separate toilet would have been ideal.
